Horse? Infinite sprint? Anything?

I really like the game, combat is hilariously good and throwing frozen goblins off a cliff never gets old. But running around for a quest for 20 minutes straight without anything happening is a bit difficult. Not to mention that I have to escort some guy somewhere. I can't even find the entrance. Spent a couple of hours just running around and it really ruins the mood. I'm not a big fan of legwork in games in general tbh. Is there some way to fast travel, to get a horse or maybe at least infinite stamina for running?

There is a fast travel system later that uses ferrystones to allow you to warp back to the capital and the hometown, and then eventually through story quests you'll be able to come across 'portcrystals' which are placeable items that will allow you to warp to those as well.
