Thanks for the answers.
As for if watching the Netflix series will spoil anything, while i don't really see it spoiling/ruining the enjoyment of the game for you, the show however does provide the entire prologue and epilogue ark of the game.
While the show has a few familiar faces as an homage to the game(long time players would instantly recognize)all of them have had their names changed so it seems like a completely different timeline. Honestly, i was quite surprised how the show didn't hold back on some of the more mature scenes.
The show seems to get flak by some people, but i quite enjoy it. The game has been out for so long without any signs of a sequel(Hopefully recent leaks turn up true)so having something even if it's just a show is refreshing. Besides, having to cram all that lore into 7 episodes isn't gonna happen.
Bottom line is this : Play the game first, then watch the show. Then judge them for yourself. Don't listen to anyone who says you shouldn't watch this or play that, because that's their opinion.
I would play the game first.
I've already formed my own opinion and you've done nothing to change any associated context thereof.
