Trouble with ENB
Hey lads, lm having a bit of a problem with the ddda enb. im using the default enb and reshade in combination, or rahter thats the plan. i have reshhade installed already for a while and that itslef works like a charm, problem is with enb. after injecting the enb into the running game, it works just fine, i can configure stuff, reshade still working, all good. but after closing the game once and restarting it enb wont load again. no changes to any files (not that i know of) or any changes really. keeps happening every time i restart the game after a new injection. any ideas?

edit: and happy new year everyone!

A. Why would you need to use both
B. You need to configure enb's start up to recognize reshade as a proxy
C. If none of the words in B I used made any kind of sense you need to do some reading

A: because reshade offers easy post-processing like color-correction and sharpening, while enb changes actual ingame shaders and lighting. two very different things.
B: how would i do that?
C: whats B I

not sure what u are trying to tell me here, other than sounding like a ♥♥♥♥. if u dont have an answer to my question, fair enough. but then y even bother to comment...

the solution if any1 is interested:

1. install ReShade/SweetFX first with their coresponding installers
2. run game to see if it works, exit game if it does
3. rename the d3d9.dll it created in the ddda folder under steamapps/common/ddda to
"ReShade32.dll" (or anything really)
4. run the enb-injector, start the game and let it do its thing. once it works exit the game
5. go to your ddda folder and look for the file "enblocal.ini"
6. open by double-clicking
7. change the top section that says PROXY to:

[PROXY]
EnableProxyLibrary=true
InitProxyFunctions=false
ProxyLibrary=ReShade32.dll

save and close. done. ddda should now start loading both enb and reshade without crashing
Because you're cutting your framerate in half at least by rerunning both processes over each other and changing identical processes with competing shaders, because reshade uses the same pipeline enb does, and if bothered to actually read anything you';d know that.

i had 60 fps without reshade, with reshade and now with reshade+enb. so no, unless it happens and the performance goes down considerably (which it didnt untill now), y would i read anything about it in the first place? dude, i solved the problem i was asking about, no reason to still be a pretendious tryhard. im not into any technical details of neither enb nor reshade, i just want to make my game a bit prettier and keep playing.
