Any similar games?
Hello, is there any similar game that comes close to this masterpiece and you liked it? Can be even on PS. Although I dont have one, I would just like to know if there is any game similar to dragons dogma. Recently I finished watching rising of the shield hero and I feel like playing dragons dogma again or watching similar game on youtube and maybe playing it later.

Not really, closest I can think of, perharps to some degree Guild Wars 2 or Outward, but that's it.

Monster Hunter World is the closest you'll probably get. Iirc some of the menu sounds and dual blade animations are even shared with Dragon's Dogma.
Though they're not all that similar, some games I've enjoyed and would recommend for decent combat would be Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

Amalur is pretty good and original game too. I agree. I may try darksouls one day? But I feel like I would miss party aspect of dragons dogma. I am autistic and got no friends so pawns in dragons dogma sorta fill that space and make me feel good to have them around. Dark messiah is awesome RPG too.

For party banter , you may want to try bioware games. Especially da1 and me series 1-3.
And you might want to check divinity series ( larian studios)also.

Monster hunter world is nothing like this game other than fighting some big monsters. Thats all mhw is, that was a dumb recommendation.

So, in other words, you admit that it shares at least one similarity with Dragon's Dogma and in turn fits the topic of the thread, then? Combat and level of exploratory freedom may be almost entirely different, but it's similar thematically and has some similarities experientially.

There are small things like item gathering and climbing on monsters, but as a game and structure it couldnt be more different.

Try Dark Souls 3, It's a good game to scratch the Dragons Dogma Itch. There isn't any other Open world RPG with good combat except Kingdoms of Amalur but that will get a Remaster so wait for that. If you want a Pawn or Companion 100% with you all the time then the other 2 options are Ashen (More Open World) or Code Vein (More Linear) both are average good.

Just play KoA now. I wouldn't wait for the remaster unless they fix the many bugs that are in the base game. You can usually get KoA for less than $10. I think I bought it when it was $7 lol. The story is meh but the gameplay is fun!

Thx, thats good choice. Not as good as dragons dogma but I played all of them. Only Dragon age 2 was bad.

Thx but I finished that one too several times. :D First when I was younger. Then I saw it onto steam and grabbed it on discount with DLCs. XD I agree that it is a great game.
...
I guess I will look into dark souls 3 or 2. I am starting to get curious about that game. I want a lot of character customization and fun. I dont know which one is better.

Dark Souls 3 is a much smoother experience, combat feels more responsive as it is the newer game. Level design and enemies variety are good on both but the enemy placement in Dark Souls 2 feels a bit more unfair. I would say that you should try Dark Souls 3 with all the dlcs and if you like it go with Dark Souls Remastered and then Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin with all dlcs.

Try Dragon Age Origins.
