I feel the game plays comfortably with keyboard and mouse. Most of the major keys are within easy reach of each other and the input's responsive so you don't have to hammer buttons.

Default configration is the standard button layout you'll get with most PC games. WASD for movement, L+R mouse for your basic heavy or light attacks, E's your action button, Spacebar to jump, Shift to run, ect. And if something's not where you like you can change it so that's always nice.

Menu wise, well it's ham-fisted. Definitely. Switching between menus is more combersome than it should be, there's no streamlining there. Overall though I don't feel it interferes all that much with the actual gameplay to be a major make or break issue.

Menu controls, or, rather, menu system is really horrible. And some menu controls you can't change (buttons Ins and PageUp are used, for example; though instead of this pair you can use Ctrl and Alt). Combat key bindings you can change.
Also there aren't shortcuts for a quests menu and a map.

Cheers for the info. I dont use the standard wasd layout, im more of a directional key man. But as long as I can change keyboard layout its all good :)

i played it with my ps4 controller..

i think it is better with a controller but mouse and keyboard is not "worse" than any other rpg like skyrim or witcher..
