But on a more serious note, that some quests cancel if you finish certain story quests. Because of that I lost out on a quest only reward that I need to fully upgrade something.
Jokes aside... Blast Arrows are *amazing* things to have, and turn Assassin and Ranger into walking gods of explosive goodness.
Darkness as an element is 90% useless, but its spells are actually quite potent and useful, when they aren't blinding you because they are actually some form of Maelstrom being used at terrible times.
Farming the Encampment Hydra for the barrel neck knowledge is the ONLY reasonable way to get that pawn knowledge.
But yeah, do ALL the quests available before continuing the main story, and always try and keep as many characters alive as possible if you have the choice; some of them possess a one-of-a-kind item that you can't get if they're dead, or are included in a side quest which gives you such an item.
Instead of carrying a pickax.
If you need a blank scroll, or a broom, or a hoe, just draw your weapon at someone carrying those items, and they will drop it for you.
"Gold or Blood, What's it to be?"
Is not an inventation for a bribe, they still attack you.
If you ever want to cross a gap but can't make the jump or levitate, grab onto a harpy xD
I havent bothered looking up how to grab onto a harpy, but the one time I tried it in-game all I did was pick it up.
Take a bow-class.
Get the gold-idol as soon as possible.
2). Don't go out of your way trying to grind levels. Most enemies in the game only stay challenging for a short period of time. Don't worry about leveling stats, don't worry about fighting every wolf and goblin you pass on the road. The game becomes significantly more fun and challenging when you aren't overleveled or over-geared for areas. There are mods which can double or greatly increase the experience needed for leveling, these are suggested if you are a completionist and still want to have a challenge as you go through the game.
3). Debilitations on enemies can make a world of difference when you're having trouble. Topror is the more obvious one, but some of the other ones can be useful too. Thrown skulls can inflict curse which can significantly decrease both their defense as well as attack power; most the stronger stuff is resistent to curse, but it can still be an option when you encounter something that you're just slightly too weak to really damage. Thrown water flasks can drench enemies, while this may not seem like much, in addition to enemies which change state (hellhounds, wolves, fire saurians) this can also make enemies more succeptable to lighting or cold magic attacks. Finally, blearing or anything that can enflict blindness (such as anealed weapons) can blind enemies and make them much less of a threat, or just leave themselves open as they thrash around wildly. If you're having trouble never underestimate what solutions might have ended in your backpack.
Ah, I was grabbing grounded ones, so I see how it wasn't working for me.
I wonder where this river flows.
2.) Change your class / vocation freely at anytime
3.) all Augments purchased within any Class / Vocation will be known & selectable going forward
But I learned pretty late about how good arrows and group boosting items are. I mean, right now I am cutting through everyone without them, but they would really make a world of a difference in my first two playthroughs.
