1. As an Assassin you want as much inherent Strength and Magick boosting Augs as possible ti Acuity, Attunement, Ferocity, Autonomy (if you go alone) or Equanimity (if you play risky), Vehemence, Clout; to get max efficiency from spread damage weapon. That's it.

2. In what universe ppl build around a single weapon? Especially that awful.

I was using Heaven's key as an example, because its a magick based weapon. I'm going for a hybrid Assassin.

Magick based weapon (any) for this guy is kind of a last resort cause he has, idk, 1-2 skills that scale with Magick? And you will have a hard time fighting against certain ghosts for sure. And in any other case Strength is your best ally anyway.
Goodluck.

I mean, the only skills I'm planning on useing is Masterfull Kill, and Hundred Kisses, which, if I go a hybrid build, should still do massive amount of damage.

base magick is useless when using an enhanced weapon, only the weapon magick gives you more damage, not your own.

What do you mean base magic is useless?

core magick is not used for weapons with permanent enhancement, like the heaven's key. So using augments and having high magick stat is useless if you are an assassin

And where did you find that information? The wiki states this: Enchanted weapons split damage based on both physical and magickal damage.

Your character's base magick is never added into the magick damage. The only thing that is figured it Weapons + Equipment. Its a bug that has never been patched. Most dagger skills or maybe all of them scale off of Strength. Using split damage weapons will most likely cut your physical damage severely and not give you enough Magick to break the magick defenses to inflict damage or maybe a small amount.

Well, if its a bug, then I guess that explains it, so there is no point in going magick weapons if its bugged.

I meant OP needs much inherent Strength, and much Magick boosting Augs :)

1. It's not a bug and it's not a thing anyway.
2. It's just that Strength based skills scale with inherent, or "core", Stregth, and Magick based skills scale with inherent Magick. And there are dagger skills that scale with Magick too. Magick Archer's dagger skills... and Dazzle Blast ;)

So would it be best if I just went straight assassin to build my strength up, then add some augs that give magick?
