1. Not level, your equipment matters. With a bad one you'll get tough days even at lvl 200. On the other hand, one can beat Cursed Dragons (provided that's what you mean by Corrupted) at lvl 14 with the right stuff (and even lower level with a ton of farming ;) You need that (and tactics) not levels.
2. With a decent bow, say, Gold rarified Pleached Limbs and Fracture Dart your Pawn will grind these badbreathers into dust cause they are weak to Fire.
3. You in turn can focus on setting up these for your Strider. Pick up some Barbed Nails and equip Antler Toss to stunlock them easily by hitting the crystal heart and wings (and the heart again). Gold rarified Bastar(d) Sword or Silver Rapier should do it. Carnation and higher will be a luxury.
3.1 And you may also help yourself by equipping a decently enhanced Rusted Shield (the easiest to rarify equipment piece in a game) and Cymbal Onlaught them to hell (Divine Defense will cover any Blocking issues).
3.2 Then, once the CD is reeling on the ground you'll get a good dps with Sheltered Assult -provided you can breach their defenses, else your best bet are Dragon's Maw, Downcrack and Periapts.
4. In case it'll start doing its ultimate bad breath attack, just climb its back (provided it won't spew at some wall you should be fine)
BTW Once you hear the carrion feeders' theme, block immediately - you never know what's coming from above ;)
His grab attack and slam on the ground hurts about as bad as anything in the game. It can get you even if you are on his heart and beating away. Camera angles are always a pain in the game when climbing and this beast is no exception. When looking at the dragon, try to stay on your right or his left if you do want to climb him as the grab is always done with his right front foot. Staying close to his rear legs or underneath him is usually the safest place to be as he can hit just about anywhere else. Even if he does a spin move, being underneath him is the safest spot.
If you have the stamina, augments, and/or a liquid vim handy give him a big hug and beowulf the ♥♥♥♥ outta him.
If your damage output isnt like 1500+ tho...umm...get a snack and a drink because it's gonna be a while. Necrophages' hp and def are rediculous.
I did BBI b4 the main quest and I might as well been fighting wolves instead of drakes and cockatrices, because compared to BBI everything might as well be woilves and tier 1 weapons.
