Enchanted Weapons
Im currently using Helmbarte Daggers and Dragons Rancor, and i just got Sapfire and Dragons Ire, but i only have 291 base Magick opposed to 640 Str at 82, so are the enchanted weapons even effective ?

1.Weapons can be enhanced y know. To make their stats better. And whether given weapon is viable depends on the enemy you are fighting against.
2. Base Magick ti your character's Magick stat only matters if you are using the skill that utilizes it. Like Magick Archer exclusive dagger skills or spells overall. Physical skills use only Magick of the weapon.

Enchanted weapons like Sapfire Dagger have their stats split into Str/Magicka so what i was thinking is that youll deal more of the elemental dmg if you have more Magicka, but ok ty.
Also another thing is in a lot of games Split Dmg isnt too good because it has to pass 2 def stats is that in DD aswell ?
Well in anycase i looked on the Wikia page of Dragons Ire and appearently it has more phys dmg than Rancor ...

There's also a matter of resistances: split damage weapon not only scales with all kinds of skills/spells (including manual enchantments) but also may be your only option against enemies immune to physical/magickal attacks - I mean your attacks. Some, definitely physical, "throwable damage sources" can harm enemies immune to physical damage for some reason.
And it's not just about damage as with enchanted weapon one can even think of staggering and knocking down such enemies.
Plus debilitations ofc.

You can read more about damage calcuclation here
