2. Base Magick ti your character's Magick stat only matters if you are using the skill that utilizes it. Like Magick Archer exclusive dagger skills or spells overall. Physical skills use only Magick of the weapon.
Also another thing is in a lot of games Split Dmg isnt too good because it has to pass 2 def stats is that in DD aswell ?
Well in anycase i looked on the Wikia page of Dragons Ire and appearently it has more phys dmg than Rancor ...
And it's not just about damage as with enchanted weapon one can even think of staggering and knocking down such enemies.
Plus debilitations ofc.
