Burden of Proof (slay 3 golems)

It is a quest that can be accepted in Cassardis, first town. By the time I found the quest, I am lvl 40+, I have explored whole map (limited by current story progress) and killed 2 golems (wild west and near tower), which makes only 2 golems in Witchwood alive. Unlike other big creatures, I have not observed golems to respawn, and that makes a problem: where do I get more golems for this quest?

They definetely respawn, maybe it takes more time though. Try resting for several days or why not kill one in Witchwood.

Because I have not progressed yet to awaken them, they are just immobile stones right now.

There's one over by bloodwater beach. Takes about a week for them to respawn. Also one on the way to duskmoon tower. Never had the one by the witches hut respawn but those two do.

The one in the witchwood comes alive if you go there on the quest to save Selene. I think that one comes after you meet the duke. Also a metal golem there. By the by...after you complete the first mission given by the soldier outside the dukes gate go out the S gate of GS and there's a cart under attack by goblins. This will be the first time you encounter a Griffin.
