Dragon's Dogma Servers Down
25th December 2018: server’s been down all day and I can’t find any information about it on google.
Anyone know when they are due back up?

I decided to play today on a whim and also noticed the servers are down, but also that a lot of sounds aren't playing at all, like footstep sounds or weapon swinging sounds

I hadn't noticed the missing sounds - will look out for it when I play later.
Hope it is only a Vhristmas Day thing - bit of a nuisance not having access to Pawns.

thank god i'm not the only one, i started using mods a few days ago and thought this was caused becaused i screwed around with the game that it has problems to connect to the server.

even started the game anew from scratch, but even then it had problems. thank god i kept a backup of my old save.

so yeah. servers seem to be problematic today. dunno when they'll be fixed. but i'll guess to avoid further annoyance with that message it's best to play offline for a while.

its very possible the sound thing is an issue with my computer, not sure. and yea, I'm really hoping the servers werent just shut down without a word, but i doubt theyd do that as they gave a sizeable notice for ps3 and xbox360 players that their servers will be shut down.

Server issues happen from time to time - it may be a remaster AD 2016 but net infrastructure is 2009 ;)

As for sound problems: I'd do a game files' integrity check.'

BTW Are you save/load-ing often? I have missing sounds issue after like 100 godsbanings. It's gone after restarting the game.

Nice. I just bought the game here while already owning it on GOG because their version has old, unsolved server issues. Now I'm still downloading the game here and servers stopped working. Game's out of luck.

Well guys, may you please write here any news about this problem? I'm still in time for a refound and I don't mean to even start the game 'till the issue is solved. If I gotta play pratically offline, I can stick with GOG's version. Since Capcom already shut down their servers for the XBox version of the game, I'm having bad feelings about this.

UK: they are not there until tomorrow as it is a Bank Holiday.

I have just looked at the profiles of those of us who have reported this problem and it includes UK, USA. Russia etc., so seems to be a worldwide issue :(

I think it was only on the Xbox 360 they shut down the servers.
I am hoping it is a Christmas glitch and will be fixed tomorrow - hang on in there Boris, it's a great game :)
