glow - way to turn it off?
Hi,

since i cant find it anywhere on google, and I hope its not a bad sign .. i would like to turn the glow effect as shown on image .. is there a way? Cant see anything during the night ..
Also .. is something special out there during the night? Just started playing and the tips are saying, only a fool goes out in dark.

The glow indicates that you are enchanted with fire magic. Your attacks will do more fire damage. Night time adventuring is fun, but in certain areas it really ups the difficulty of the game. Different monsters come out, bosses come out. The big danger is the small vision radius you will run into baddies unintentional.

There's different bestiary at night (more wolfs less bandits, undead come out of the ground aso) also some stuff can be found only at night: like Moonglow...or lingerie in Duchess bedroom ;)

I was about to post the same mod. This is the best, in my opinion. You can easily change your glow intensity. In my case i use the medium one, you can see the glow but it doesn't interfire with the lighting. Looks more natural to me.

That effect when you are debilitated or attribute boosted is the real problem. It ruins all screenshots. Is there any mod to remove that effect?

This is old, but for the people who might be google searching this: turn HDR to Low in the graphics settings.
Lucius Oct 19, 2024 @ 9:04am
Set ingame HDR settings to "low".

Look on Nexus; There's a mod that reduces this glow as it makes it very hard to see to shoot.
