You can be trade banned which usually last about a day. If your pawn is modded so that it falls outside certain parameters, the pawn will be corrupted and won't be able to be used by any other players.

It's more of a hellban than anything. You can do whatever you want and not notice anything amiss, but your pawn won't successfully load in the rift for others and anything you try trading will be a rock.

I think Burlsol meant "gifting", as in when you release a pawn...and the rented pawn will not receive RCs either.

As outlined above; you mostly get a trade ban - this entails as follows:

-Pawn rentals will not receive rift crystals (RC)
-Items you gift/equip to a rented pawn, will only show up as rocks when recieved.

This occurs when you have 'duped' a save, like rolling back to an older save, or vice versa (the timestaps on the save/main pawn don't coincide with the version on the server, hence they give you a softban.

As for the Ur-Dragon.
You don't really get banned from facing it.
Offline you can mod, and deal as much damage as you want, however, with the online version, you can only damage it to a certain point before the game disregards your efforts.

i.e. Offline:

-Spamming blast arrows for days offline, will not penalise you
-Using modded statistics (Pawn/Arisen for OP attack/defense/magick, ect.)

This has no effect on your local gameplay.

i.e Online:

-spamming blast arrows, in conjuction with periapts/makers finger. (therefore exceeding the damage cap)
-using modded statistics on your pawn/Arisen (again exceeding the damage cap)

This will affect online but only for that "round"
If you attempt this, and when you leave the chamber of lament, you either will or will not see an "Accessing Server" icon.

-If you don't see this icon as you leave, you've exceeded the damage cap, and your entire effort for that round IS NOT counted to the collective effort of the online Ur.

This is purely for balancing reasons, to prevent save-edited Arisen/pawns from dealing too much damage, and derailing the intended gameplay for the online Ur.

However, if you dial it down, and use less buffs/items, and you see the "Accessing Server" as you leave, then the damage you dealt IS counted towards the collective damage.

As a final note: As Fredericks has mentioned - people who save-edit and have pawn statistics, that are too high i.e. (base attack over 750 - just a made up number, but close to the cap) will get omitted from searches in the rift as they are considered "corrupt pawn data" but if you're not editing saves, or altering your pawn stats, you shouldn't encounter this problem.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion, others can add to it, if they feel the necessity, but I only offer my perspective from my gameplay.

i think he is uaware that resting until it says "connection error" removes your pawn from the rift.

that has many uses in itself.
it causes your previous cloud save to be used first off.

btw, welcome back.
