Fighting with rusted weapons
I have never used this kind of item, so i want to know if it is possible to play only with rusted items (shields, daggers, staff, bows, etc) so my build will be something like... a rusted warrior.. or strider..

I'd like to know because rusted items are always in first places. Even with cursed items, the rusted ones are always first.. like they were better.. but it don't really feels that way.

Have you played with rusted items? Do you recommend a rusted build?

Rusted weapons have a permanent ability to debilitate a foe. Very few things are imune to Topor (which really slows a foes movements down) and a slow enemy is a much easier to polish off than a fast one and it is much easier to avoid damage from it's attacks in the process.

Yes, it does. So if i upgrade a rusted item i could use them to inflict debilitating damage and then switch to main weapon to deal even more damage?

I got this rusted, gold and oiled weapons and i've never use them. Right now i deal a great ammount of damage with my Mystic Knight, so i gues i will become a tank with those rusted item.

Thanks.

Gold weapons cause Tarring, Which is oil and become more easily flammable.

Edit: Zadymek corrected me. I was thinking aneled, Gold is silence.

hm. I simply use a fighter-pawn with rusted weapons. It even is a rented one. (level 44, Hrist). I don't like to constantly switch weapons mid-fight. At least not in this game.
I have used rusted bows for a long time. I never really used the rusted staffs until recently because I never really saw them mentioned as being good. All I can say is that they torpor incredibly fast. It takes 1 HFC bolt to torpor most enemies. Comestion works well too to torpor. I have not tried Miasma, but I imagine that it torpors extremely fast as well.

The one that doesn't seem to work is rusted spellbow. It works on core skills, but it takes forever. It doesn't work with any skills such as sixfold bolt.

I am a Magic Archer ans you are right, rusted spellbow took forever to make some status damage.. i am using rusted daggers and golden daggers to do that, its faster.

This is the first time i use rusted /golden weapons and so far they work nice on magick enemies as liches. Have you guys tried this weapons on Death?
