Skyrim OR Dragons Dogma
So ive been saving up money for my favorite game of all time Skyrim SE but when i looked at the store i see that Dragons Dogma is cheap right now. And the real question is Can you run this game in a bad gaming laptop?. i mean i know that i can run Skyrim with my ♥♥♥♥ laptop but what about this game?? cus if i can run it i would but this instead of skyrim. imean ive played both of them in the XBOX 360 and i know that in quality that this game is better so can you run it in a bad PC???????

I ran this game for about a year on a i-26nn something with a 560M NVidia card and could get a steady 30fps. I called my old computer the Spud because it wasn't even worthy of the word potato.

Pretty sure your rig will run it just fine.

Skyrim is an overrated piece of trash

I agree, it's boring indeed. I bought it on Xbox One and can't get refund :wasted:
DD is unpolished compared to Skyrim and does not come close to Skyrim's depth in world building, characters, and lore. I have spent countless hours in Elder Scrolls games just READING. The story in DD is paint by numbers, there is nothing interesting about your main character except what happened to them, quest givers are effectively kiosks like in WOW, and 90% of the quests are kill these creatures or escort this person. Without the pawn system, DD would be a total pass. But with it, it's a fun game and entertaining in a sandbox way.
i'd go with DD

Most of Skyrim books are copied from Morrowind and Oblivion. And 90% of it's quest are "go into that cave/ruins and take that item back". Radiant quests or whatever they were called were more boring and repetitive than WoW quests.
You'll get more gaming hours out of skyrim I think.
Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma both are good games respectively; you'll definitely get more gaming hours with Skyrim and the lore is interesting to learn and be engulfed in (with modding it'll spice things up if you ever get bored, the community is really active). Dragon's Dogma with its DLC will definitely give you more gaming hours too as it presents to you bigger challenges (The Reaper is scary!!) I personally like DD because it reminds me of a combination of Skyrim, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, and Shadow of the Colosseus, and also for nostalgia's sake.
Since money seems to be an issue I would get Skyrim instead. With all the mod support you are going to get so much more out of Skyrim.
Honestly you are probably going to get more play time out of Skyrim, due to the ability to MOD it. That said, DD is an awesome game as well. I would honestly say Skyrim would be the better investment, but with a bad gaming laptop, I have no idea how well it'll run

If it doesnt run well just refund it. Thats what i did when i used to have an outdated pc.
Listen to this guy/girl.
Both are good games. but they do not nearly play the same....Honestly? I had a lot more fun With DD I highly, highly, suggest it over Skyrim
plus skyrim now has paid mods? they can suck it
I have both Skrym + Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen(Got it on GoG) and honestly both are great games.

That said i got way too many hours in Skyrim both modded and non-modded.

Skyrim and Dragons Dogma are 2 different games even if they are both RPG. Plus dont forget that Dragons Dogma has online features too, while Skyrim is strictly Single Player.

Now my question is, are you talking about Skyrim Special Edition or Vanilla Skyrim?

Vanilla Skyrim is 32bit game while Skyrim Special Edition is 64bit game so there is a big difference.

Now the problem is.

You did not show us your specs, so without that nobody can tell if you can run it or not.
i like both games but i would recommend DD

"Waiting for DD2, and DMC is ♥♥♥♥ dont want a DMC 5

If you want an entertaining combat system, with monster climbing, sniping, combos, explosion and speed this game. I still have to understand how people can like Skyrim's, but I guess tastes are tastes.

Do you by any chance use controller? Because, only thing hard in Dark Souls were controlls. TBH I gave up after a day of avatar swinging weapons in random direction. And I am 100% sure you need to play Witcher 1 & 2 before 3.
