Differences between platforms? PC, PS4, now upcoming Switch
I have played through DD already for the PS3 and now I want to play it again but the remastered version. Are there any differences between the PC, PS4, and upcoming Switch versions in terms of quality / performance / and content?

AFAIK there're no differences between PC and consoles (except maybe this impact FX I saw once on a footage from PS4).

As for mobile one by Niny, I heard that its owners will get additional weapon (looks like fiery Ascalon) and hairstyle, to be able to make Travis Touchdown a Pawn ;) No, seriously, there is a vid where devs, supposedly, say they are making Travis Touchdown a Pawn in a new released version.

I am guessing that the switch will probably be locked at 30fps like the PS4 version. For the best overall experience PC is still probably the best platform I would think.

Are the servers still active on PC? I want to introduce my SO to this game and want them to get the full Dragons Dogma experience.

I'm receiving info that currently these are out of order. Hopefully this'll be fixed soon - not like the last time, when it took a week or so... generally PC servers are active.

I think that main difference is that even though it isn´t oficially supported, you can mod the game. You can check on Nexusmods[www.nexusmods.com], if you would like any mods. And also you can backup your save here, because sometimes it can get corrupted. I don´t know how save backup works in game consoles, so somebody else will have to answer you this.

About the servers, people are reporting that they are now down (again, for I think third time :steamfacepalm:), probably due to some technical issues, but Capcom themselves said, that they don´t plan turning off PC servers anytime soon, if there will be anybody playing the game.
mods.

PC gets mods.

Switch gets Fluorescent Tube Lightsaber and Touchdown

Consoles get Berserk.

Well, more accurately-- the 360 and PS3 got Berserk crossover items. The PS4 and XBOne do not have them.

The changes are a little more subtle:

360/PS3: DD and Dark Arisen releases) Inflection is bugged due to a math error, Berserk items included.

PC version: Inflection patched with a correction in 12/16, all DLC issued to the console versions of the game are baked in. Limited modding is available; MT Framework's structure does not make extensive mods easy. Wide screen monitors are not natively supported. FPS is capped at 160 according to Capcom.

XBOne, PS4 and Switch: Same version as PC in terms of Inflection and all DLC baked in, capped at 30FPS.
