I've been working on the hero achievement this week (the last one I have). I literally have one stupid quest left until I'm 100%. I'd hate to do it offline and it not "count". Guess I'll wait.
It was someone else's. Favorited but not cached, it seems. And to be clear, I wasn't even on the little pier with the chest. I was across the room from it. She just ran straight for the water. Like a big, dumb, armored dog at the beach.
lol this answer doesn't really make any sense xD
1- run towards them: almost certain that at least one pawn will jump to their deaths. This is actually not chest-related; run towards any pit or sudden drop and the pawns will likely kill themselves. This is because they first try to appear on camera and only then stop their sprint; which is too late if you stopped close to the fall.
2- walk towards the chests: usually safe but there's a small chance someone will jump the chest AND overshoot the jump.
3- walk towards the chests but looking away from the pit. Never had any pawn fall with this method. They don't need to jump at all since they are already doing what they love the best: posing for the camera. ;)
This sound like a bitter ex who can't move on lmaooo
