Background music stops playing?
When I first enter an area there's music playing. But after a short while it stops, until i enter a new area. Is this intentional design? During most of the game it's just quiet. I'd like the music to stick around :(

Hm, that's an intentional design, I think the only places music really stays is in battle, BBI's pier, BBI's Arisen Rest and Warrior's Respite. Duke's Demesne; scorting Symone, the Quarry after it's populated, and some other places.

But in general, Gransys and many places and towns you visit have this short song playing at the beginning when you enter and then it shuts up and you're left to play in silence, it's been like that since I remember from ps3 days.

Where exactly did it happen?

Everywhere. For Example: If I enter Gran Soren a tune starts playing. And after a minute or two the track fades out. The question is, is this a bug or intentional design? Shouldn't there be music playing all the time? It's as if the game forgets to loop the track.

Oh ok, thanks! That's what I thought. Not sure if I like that. The music adds so much atmosphere to the places when you first go in and then it's just quiet. Especially in Gran Soren some music would do wonders for the long quest runs/shopping/exploration... oh well

I never experienced this myself. In my game the background music plays non stop. It's correct that there is a small melody that plays when entering an area, which after some time goes silent again, but then there still is a tune in the background.

Well, that's strange. So in Gran Soren there is continous music playing in your game? You sure? Can you check?

So, I just checked Grans Soren and Kassardis, to make sure I'm not mistaken.

When I enter Gran Soren, there is at first a noticable melody which lasts about 1-2 minutes and then slowly stops. Then there is silence, excepts the sounds from the marketplace, but after a few minutes a small chorus sets in and some instruments I don't know the name of. This melody then plays until I leave the town.

In Kassardis there is a constant tune playing in the background which never seems to stop.

I'm not sure if this is of any importance, but I use a mod that changes the title screen song to the original one, "Dangan". It should only change the music in the title screen, so I don't think it has any influence ingame, but maybe that's the cause that there is nearly always background music playing in my game.

I just tested it. In Gran Soren, Cassardis and in the wild the music stops after a short while and doesn't come back. Maybe your mod does change something. Oh well, gotta live with it i guess. Thanks for the replies.
