undead killing quests dont work

so i got a quest that has me kill 44 undead near the abbey but when ever i kill a bunch it doesn't change the amount left in the quest screen

I just did this one yesterday. It seems a bit messed up regarding the location. I ended up finishing it while in a dungeon not very near the Abbey.

You might want to forget about it for the time being. When you're in the right place you'll clear it in about two minutes.

I also had some trouble with this one. What I eventually found out was that the Abbey has a graveyard right next to the building that spawns a tonne of undead. Finished it up immediately after finding that.
