[Spoiler alert] What is your most and least favourite enemy to fight against ?
So I've been going through BBI lately and have encountered possibly the worst enemy combination possible, and instead of writing a rant to vent out my anger I decided to instead share my opinion on which enemies I hate the most and which are my favourite. I'm also interested in hearing other people's opinions.

So, my favourite enemies to fight are :

1- Living Armours : They are a good challenge, their attacks aren't impossible to avoid and can be avoided in many ways (blocking, dodging, running around) and I really like how the more you fight them the faster they become, pawns don't turn braindead when fighting them most of the time and there's usually a riftstone nearby if you need to hire sorcerers before facing them which doesn't make them a complete roadblock. The only bad thing about them is that for some reason the devs thought it was a good idea to spam them throughout the level before the daimon despite being arguably one of the most powerful enemies in the game.

2- Daimon 1st form : He's a really interesting boss to fight, he has many attacks both physical and spells which keeps the fight interesting, it's possible to kill him even without having to climb him all the time with melee classes and his song (coils of light I think it was called) is pretty good.

3- Cockatrices : Unlike Griffins they don't attempt to run away and are much stronger along with having a couple extra tricks during battle. Killing them isn't as simple as firing a single blast arrow to set them on fire.

4- Grigori : I personally really like the fight against Grigori, he might not be the hardest dragon to fight (the BBI dragonkin are arguably much harder) however pawns don't go 100% braidead when fighting against him unlike the others (still 60% braindead, but it's better than nothing), his extra attacks and spells make him feel a bit more alive and dynamic than other dragons, his boss music is decent and his voice is absolutely gorgeous.

As for the enemies I hate the most :

1- Strigoi : Arguably the worst enemy in the entire game, they have too much knockdown resistance for a flying enemy, they teleport everywhere (it's not even animated, they just completely disapear and pop back into existance behind you) not only when you are running away but also mid combat. I'd be shooting at one then suddenly it dissapears and charges at my back. Their grab attack will not only damage the person they grabbed but for some reason will also damage anyone nearby ( WTF ? why ?) and they're just reskined gargoyles, by far the laziest enemy design in DDA

2- Hellhounds : Wolfs in all their variations are annoying, regular wolfs are a waste of time and are very persistent, direwolfs can be dangerous if ignored, and wargs poison you out of nowhere. But hellhounds should've stayed in the HECK from which they came from. Ridiculous stagger and knockdown resist, almost all of their attacks cause knockdown, they spit a fireball at you with little warning, they deal a ton of damage and have the ability to drag you once you are on the ground. I hate these pricks

3- Succubi : Harpies but worse, and the most annoying thing isn't even their attacks but rather the fact that there is 10 of them just circling you and using their stupid "song" to make my ears bleed irl.

4- Thunderwyverns and diredrakes : So do you remember when I said that pawns go braindead when fighting dragonkin (thanks capcom for making these things completely break the pawn's AI and never fixing it) well these two types of drakes are by far the most troublesome to take out solo. Thunderwyverns will simply shock you if you get too close and you'll fall of them while your pawns won't even attempt to shoot them down from the sky, an absolute pain when playing a melee vocation. And diredrakes deal a ton of damage even from simply making contact with the damn thing and of course you'll get no help from your party.

5- Giant gorecyclops : There is only 2 ways to fight them, find a spot they can't reach you from and spam ice spells or climb them and buff yourself with all the periapts you have in your inventory. I've almost never seen them gatting knocked down or losing balance even when casting high glicel at their face for 5 minutes, only time that happened was when I once managed to shoot them with a few balista shots while they were unaware of me. They are a dumb enemy with almost no strategy to fighting them and of course even when they are chained they for some reason are a magnet to any scather pawn even if they are harmless, and again show how many of the BBI enemies were just lazily made, pawns can't even climb those guys correctly.

6- Garms : A single one of them is fine, but 3 of them is just stupid, they keep stunlocking you and have that stupid 1 hit kill charge attack, at least you can either despawn them or petrify them

7- Poison undead and Wraiths : Both are just a waste of time, the poison undead have way too much HP and act like magnets for any scather pawns (bonus points if you encounter them near cliffs in which case they'll drop your pawns into the abyss) And wraiths are annoying, Impossible to kill without a staff that has a holy enchantment and will constantly keep staggering you and drenching you.

8- The Daimon 2nd form : While I do love the 1st from of the Daimon because of how fast and reactive he feels, his 2nd form just feels lazy, you are pretty much shooting at an almost static target during the whole fight, his attacks have almost all been reduced to spells, if you are playing a melee vocations all you do is simply jump on him and slash his chest for the whole fight. I find him to be a downgrade compared to first phase, all he's got is superior stats.

9- Death : There's not much to him really, just avoid the sleep spell, get a few hits, avoid the scyth rinse and repeat, but again capcom has shown us how half of the BBI enemies don't even include the proper AI for pawns to fight them correctly as they rush to literally impale themselves on his weapon

10- The UR dragon : I did say that I love Grigori, but the UR dragon is just obnoxious, too much health and the fact that 2 of his hearts are on his wings and unreachable without ranged attacks is the ultimate middle finger to melee vocations (at least pawns know where to aim when fighting him)

11- Eliminators : The problem isn't really with the enemy itself, they're actually decent in my opinion, however why do they put 4 or 5 of them in the same place ? That's just bad level design, I just hate the stomp parties they create.

Most annoying enemy for me is the chest worms honestly. They hold you until whatever is chasing you can catch up and wack you. Very annoying once you finish the island and are trying to get "maxed" out gear.

Regarding those you like:
1. Why can't they be set on the trail to Daimon?
4. #Metoo

Regarding those you don't:
1. Teleport? And AoE damage? Check you game files.
2. Yeah, and their fireballs'' explosion AoE goes through geometry.
3. This was definitely Rotunda of Dread encounter ;)
4. BTW Their "elemental shrouds" are turned off when they reel on the ground.
5. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1777658759
6. Or torpor them, or lure them to narrow places. Also: it's not like you have to attack all three at once. It's just the bigger wolf, use the same tactics. BTW Do you like their good bye mist? ;)
7. I believe you mean curse regarding Wraiths. And yeah, they are forcing you to bring mages into the table, just like LAs actually. Bring throwblasts I guess.
9. Totally agree. B team's job.
10. Hmm, I think I know which enemy I'm researching next ;)
11.The whole BBI is a bad level design.

BTW You are playing on Hard Mode, right?

Anything that throws a vortex spell inside a medium sized room or smaller (incl rented pawns).

As a sorcerer from level 1 to 200 the red gargoyles of bitterblack have always been the worst of all. They knock me down and when i get up they instantly do it again. There is usually more than one too, though they die quite easy when hit

The living armors are very nice monsters i like them
Daimon's randumb spam isn't intimidating, it's just annoying.

While the point might be that fans asked for more harder boss, "spam random pewpew" isn't really harder unless you're a mage class.

Yeah, the fact that there is absolutely no way to recognize if a chest is trapped or not and no way to avoid it unless you are a sorcerer who already cast necromancy or has pawn ready to free you is pretty annoying

Yes I am playing on hardmode, but I'm not certain if the changes apply to BBI or not.

I already did once, and I swear those guys teleport around to chase you if you try to flee and standing near someone getting the SUC will damage you

The problem is to make them reel while playing as a melee vocation, at least for the thunderwyvern since pawns sometimes don't shoot them

As much as I try, when they spawn in the same room as you without warning, they'll all chase your party

Well let me know if you can somehow destroy these hearts without using MA, MK, sorcerer, assassin, mage, ranger or strider

If you see enemies impossible to knockdown and, eventually, receive more damage at BBI, then this is Hard Mode. And you can compare which amount is normal cause your Pawns aren't affected by HM.

As for BBI dragons. Just climb somewhere to lure flight, then wait for the breath attack to run up to their tail and hack it with Antler.

Being new I've found ogres the most annoying thing I've seen so far. I did see a dragon milling about somewhere, but I readily decided to leave that well enough alone. Cyclops and Chimeras are the only large enemies I've seen so far besides, and neither of them are too bad.

To be honest with you, you won't find too many annoying enemies in gransys, (at least not until you progress far enough with the main quest) most of the annoying enemies are located in Bitter Black Islad

The Evil Eye is a awesome monster. I remember it was a very nice challenge when i first fought it and couldn't even defeat it until leveling a lot more

It's bit of a shame they're so rare to find, when I somehow manage to fight one I have no idea what I'm doing and my pawn for once is the one carrying me

The Evil Eye:

Chamber of Confusion (once per playthrough)
Chamber of Sorrow (respawns every 4 days)
Rotunda of Dread, post-Daimon (1 of 12 random mob spawns)

That's nice. I thought it was only that one.

It has a nice arsenal of attacks and spells. Uses a lot interesting stuff but is too weak to really be a fight at level 200
