Chasing Shadows last cut scene not working?

Im at the window walking around and it won't trigger spying on the knight?

You did the proper steps? Doing the quest, following the knight at night to the building and then spying through the window? If you did all of this and the cutscene still doesn't start, then I think your best guess would be to restart the game.

The quest goes as follows: you start at night at the Noble Quarter, then follow a knight through the streets to Venery, and only then at the Abandoned House the cut scene triggers. Are you sure you went through all the steps correctly?

BTW Wiki mentions that the final cutscene may not trigger if Lure of the Abyss wasn't completed yet. I wonder if you could give the quest a shot another night...

I restarted at last check point before that quest and tried a couple times and same thing, doen't lure of the abyss skip that quest when its completed though?

No, it won't cancel "Chasing Shadows" if you do "Lure of the Abyss". It will only be cancelled if you do "Come to Court".

Unless I'm sadly mistaken this mission is not a game changer. You won't get the monetary reward for completing it but not doing it will not change the game for you later on.

Ill just do some of the other side quets before lure of the abyss and see what happens
