It is kind of amusing to try to use a Ferrystone Forgery.
I'd say, anything that the game classifies as literal "Forgery" is just the cheap imitation of the original item. While anything that Mounty can duplicate 1:1 is a perfect, and functional copy without "forgery" in description.

Fake Grimoire won't trigger archmagick and fake Idols will not expand shop inventories (also fake Wyrmking Ring won't open the Treasury chest).
Precisely. Forge Salomet's Grimoire, and Stefan is unable to cast its spell.
I was pointing out an inconsistency since we are able to forge working copies of the other spell-casting tomes.
