And you prolly dont want aquisitor anywhere near your list unless you dont mind it running off to loot instead of fight. :)
N.B. Hiring a sorcerer with a 3* bestiary will also help in teaching your pawn the most effective spells for different beasts.
If you don't have a mainly 3* bestiary though I'd choose Challenger as your main inclination (keeps your sorcerer at range so won't get interupted) with Utlitarian second (to help syncing). I like Mitigator third (takes out weak enimies) and perhaps Medicant fourth (encourages use of High Voidspell to get rid of debilitations). so:
At low level Challenger/Utilitarian/Mitigator/Mendicant
Once you have a good bestiary put Utiliatrain first.

didnt use mods on first one.. kinda looked good enough to me back then :)
got SE for free and had not played original in ages
played SE with only handful of mods.. most notably the inigo follower

wanted to start over with a bunch of mods once i finished most of the bigger quests but then this game pulled me back in.
usually modding isnt a good thing for me.. end up wasting all my time on modding and hardly any gaming.
