Good magick build?
Hello, I've played through the game a few times on physical characters but want to design a magick character to use as a MK/MA at 200. My main build goals is going to be 600ish magick, 4k+ health, and 3k+ stamina. I'm wondering if anyone has a better optimized build than what I've come up with for this. Also, I know many players go for all on offense, but I prefer having 4K+ health and 3k+ stamina. Just a preference, I don't mind the 100-200 decrease in magick/strength for the better health and stamina.

Here's my build so far: https://stackoverflow.github.io/dragons-dogma-stat-planner/#af0000000000005a0000001400000050000000

To same some click time: Fighter 1-10, Mystic Knight 10-100, Strider 101-120, Sorc 121-200

HP: 4320
ST:3620
Mag: 608
Str: 316
Def: 387
MD: 448

So far I like this build but am wondering if theres a better class leveling setup for maximizing my Health and Stamina with around the same Mag rating. All help is appreciated!

I'm using a couple of these for my characters. Maybe you'll spot something there.

Doesn't matter, BBI gear makes builds pointless.

the only builds it doesn't make pointless are full offense builds. Those and builds that focus on max health or stamina, since equipment generally doesn't boost those by anywhere near the amount needed to keep up with what levelling will do.

Everyone says that BBI makes builds pointless... but having tried a few different builds and being someone who enjoys 10% or more differences I beg to differ. BBI makes bad builds pointless imo.

When they say it makes builds poinless, they mean that it is no longer a make or break situation. That is, bbi grade equipment means you aren't going to be unable to break thresholds.
Here is my take MA. You can take 200 levels of fighter, switch to MA get the Blackwing and upgrade it, use Magic RebalancerX4 and you will kill everything with 258 magic attack. The reason I say this because my character has 318 magic attack and can kill everything with relative ease as a MA. Not as fast as someone with 700+ magic attack but I can still get the job done.

I would prioritize HP first which you look like you have an ample amount. I personally like more physical defense. Most damage that you take is physical so having a little higher score in the end will not hurt.

Play the vocations that you like to play and don't worry too much about what the end product is.

Pretty much. Unless you go full assassin/warrior/fighter and expect to hop straight to sorc or mage, BBI equipment cures what ails you. Even in that case, periapts are still a thing.

Builds are pointless. Resistance is what matters

To answer the OP's question directly, the build is fine. It's actually very similar to the stats I use here on Steam as my Arisen. I can play any vocation I want more than effectively, and since the magick stat is pleasantly high, my Arisen performs particularly well as a MK, MA, Sorcerer and even (though I find it very boring to play) a Mage.

This is mine: 1-10 Strider, 30 levels MK, 60 Assassin, 100 levels Sorcerer

HP 3875
ST 3985
Attack 517
Magick 607
Defense 307
Magick Defense 338
