Bugged enchantment

I need help removing an enchantment that got bugged out. My pawn enchanted me with darkness element but it has stayed on me for the past hour and nothing i do seems to get it off. I tried using the help command to get another enchantment cast on me but that didnt work. Taking my weapons off didnt work. at this point I dont know what to do.

Try resting until it's gone. At an inn, to advance time. Resting at benches in BBI will not work.

Yep, you only rest for 1 in game hour at the BBI benches.

What if you change your class to become mage and cast another enchant on yourself ?

Necroing the hell out of this but I had this issue recently and changing to a mage and self buffing fixes the issue
