Anyways, I'd say around 50 is minimum with full team for good run.
Little spoiler: on lower levels, there's going to be half-random encounters of very powerful enemies, which are managable around lvl 70 at minimum. You can either grind for that, or run away from them if you don't want to grind too much.
As for grinding, Everfall's boss chambers are fine choice, but just walking around BBI and resting few times (enemies re-spawn there quickly) will give you levels as well, and there's few areas similiar to the Everfall with randomly spawning bosses, so doing few of those will give you good levels if you encounter a hard encounter.
BBI has lots of good healing items on chests, boxes, barrels and from its shop.
As for what level you should be, well as Crengoblin said you can pretty much do it as early as you like. If you actually want to be able to tackle what you're going up against however, I'd say a minimum of level 60 or so.
Always a good question. They're kind of a pain to obtain, but they're cheap and they're useful: Golden eggs. Love these things, they restore 1,500 health and stamina each, problem is they have to be kept in airtight flasks. Wiki page: http://dragonsdogma.wikia.com/wiki/Golden_Egg
Let you in on a secret though, I never carry healing curatives with me post-Grigori. You can get so many wakestones in the Everfall that I just bring a ton of these and continuously revive myself if needed xD.
Sure thing.
The first hard enemy you'll most likely counter is Terminator. It has long and wide range anf good defences. It's weak to ice and can be frozen, so I recommend getting good ice buffs and weapons. Basic battle tactic is to keep distance and attack when Eliminator stops its combos. Then start attacking and froze it. You can keep doing this for a long time as long as your buff stays. Make sure to have enough stagger power on the team.
Second and even harder enemy is the Elder Ogre. They fight exactly the same as their smaller counterparts, but hit harder and are extremely tanky. Its weak to electric and dark, but if you don't do decent damage with that, I advice to just run. Ogre's moves are pretty easy to dodge, but their grab attack is dangerous. It also has rage mod which triggers when half of its HP is depleted. Once activated, it becomes extremely fast and hits harder. Extra focus on dodging then.
Last one is the Cursed Dragon. They fight like Drakes, but have hard hitting bite attack if you're in front of it, so stay on its rear. Its very weak against fire, but same thing as Elder Ogre; if you cannot do decent damage, run. Good tactic is to use/ have someone with comestion. Make sure to have archer on the team so you can drop it from the sky if it goes aloft.
According to the wiki list kingwarish is the best curative for it's weight. As previously mentioned golden eggs are good too and also give a boost to stamina. The godly analeptic cures a massive 25k HPs(!) but can only be obtained from Barroch. Having your Arisen (or main pawn) wear the Magnanimous Cloak is a good way to heal your whole party.

The exception to this is the "Blessed Flower" which last one in game day. However at the end of the day the flower will wilt and be gone forever. To stop this make sure you first forge a copy then before the end of the in game day go to an inn and place the flower in storage and rest which will revive it.

N.B. If you want to incease in vocation rank then you need to gain DP not XP. DP are best gained by killing low lvl beasts so if you want to increase voacation go and murder some bunnies, shoot some seagulls and batter some bats. Wearing Asura Armor doubles DPs gained though at the cost of increased stamina usage and taking increased damage.
Hope that's helpful.
High xp gain, high gold gain, easily accessible and low difficulty.
It's been a while since I've had to level a char but if I remember correctly I was making 3-4 million cash a night and made it to level 100 in only a few nights.
By the time your level is high enough to confidently take on BBI you can afford ample healing supplies.
Good shout. I forgot about the wight. We should point out to Greywolf that the idea is to try NOT to kill the wight so that it keeps on summoning skels for you to kill.
My last playthrough (admittedly almost a year ago) I ran with one of these mods and honestly I probably won't go back to vanilla.
It is...challenging, since you need decent equipment to even start.
I leveled my PC's Arisen up from 185 to 200 in the space of 40 minutes using Death. It is summon-able with rancid bait meat just like the Cursed Dragon-- you have to do it in another room than the Duskmoon Tower courtyard. The method is almost identical, though.
Death's base XP is 420,000 while the Cursed Dragon is 66,000.
All that said, I'm not a big fan of speed leveling. I would not have done it myself unless my pawn hadn't already had 100% bestiary knowledge; speed leveling by fighting only one enemy, endlessly, makes for a very high leveled but ignorant pawn.
I cannot be entirely sure, but I assume OP wasn't asking about speed leveling all the way up to 200, and just wanted to gain some quick levels to feel more comfortable in BBI once he/she gets to it.
