Online pawns and offline play
I wonder if I hire pawns online and then go offline play and later back to online to return pawns then will they earn as much rift crystals as if I were playing online all the time?

They should get all because it uploads data when resting or release. If you relase while offline not sure.

Ok thanks. Main reason for this is offline ur dragon and sometimes I don't want to my own pawn being uploaded with insufficient skills while I am training another vocation. But I want to be sure my hired pawns get something because it is embarrassing to send them home with 0 rift crystals :D

When you release them, they will still get counted as hired and credited for the time spent as soon as sleep at an inn. The game will keep track of most of your hires and what they've gained, but will probably start converting gifts to rocks after about the 10th without resting regardless of the time spent between just because it sends off everything at once.

If you're wanting to keep your pawn from being updated, just don't rest at an inn while in online mode. Your pawn only updates when you rest at an inn (or otherwise sleep and check the server to see if your pawn was hired at all), not when changing areas or entering the rift.

If not for the fact that the required quest related to Fourinval requires several days passing in game, you could probably run through the whole game without ever sleeping at an inn or updating your pawn.
