Multiple Accounts
Hi so, I just picked this game up and it´s really confusing. I wanted to ask if there is a way to have multiple characters in this game or if creating a new one just deletes the previous one?

Only one save per steam account.
But you can backup your save game if you want to make another character without lose "main" character or you can use family share to make another game.

You only have one save per account. Creating a new game using "New Game" will completely reset your current save.

Another thing to note is that when you load an old backup save (for when you switch to an older character), you may get tradebanned for 12~48 hours. The trade ban only affects you giving RC and items to other players; you give out 0 RC and all items you give turn into rocks in the duration of the ban.

The edit would just be a better way to phrase it, imo.

There's a mod that wil give you an interface to back up saves with and swap it out with a new save, etc.

does the mod work with the games online aspects or will you get banned? if you don´t, what´s the mods name?

Family sharing maybe good choices.

switching saves only causes that pawns could get a temporary ban (around 48 hours if im not mistaken) but nothing else really

what is family sharing?

Which really doesn't affect you. BBI gives out RC for days, and that's the only thing the online aspects give you really. If you accidently lose an important item, the black cat usually has another, or you can always simply blitz NG+, which is very quick if you set up the crystals correctly, since they carry over.

eh, some people like having useful pawns for friends or whatever, just a small heads up on what is confirmed to happen upon switching saves

Ah, I'm an antisocial ass, so I forgot about that aspect, lol. In that case simply put the game into offline mode while messing about on an alt, and avoid the whole mess of a temp ban. Or simply build a reasonably well-balanced character and pawn so you never need to mess with alts. Sufficient gear and using the right augments makes stats pretty much irrelevant (unless you want to speedkill things, but even then the only fights that actually take a long time are Urdy and Damon) once you reach the breakpoint of about 350.

you create another steam account and allow library use from your primary. you can do that for 5 of them

only detriment is that unless you buy something on those accounts, you can't send invites until you buy at least 1 game (i hope i am correct here, i remember hearing 3 as limit too), for this you can simply buy daily offers under 1 buck

good point is that you can make your perfect group of 3 pawns you have under control

Lol, having a perfect party is boring. Being above about level 125 (If not for BBI, that would be level 50) makes you borderline invinvible as is, why would you remove what little risk is remaining?

125? @.@

you should really watch the video i'm finishing my work on ^^

and to answer your question why? some people like that. and no, i am not one of those people

one really sad thing about this game is that it doesn't have "stop the level up crap" button. so, after 100 it is best to just speedroll to 200 where you can then downtune by gear
