How to backup my save games?

Im going to start a new game but i dont want to lose my old save game.

How can I back up it?

The easiest, quickest method is to copy your save file from its Steam directory to somewhere else on your hard drive.

It's called DDDA.sav

Steam/User data/File with random numbers/File number 367500 yours might be different just check em all/File remote/ the save data is in there just copy and paste the DDDA.save somewhere.

The 'random number' is actually your Steam account identifier. It's not random, it's more accurate to call it unique.

Just copy the remote folder or rename it adding your char name to it and leave it there.
