Rusted Sword

I've been trying to get my hands on a rusted sword these past few hours. (Reynard is not on option) Can someone recommend me a good place, because randomly exploring Gransis is not helping?

Also if I get a rusted weapon it's always a daggar

Start of the game... A good place to get a rusted sword.

You can buy rusted weapons from Renauld the merchant, find them randomly, be gifted one by a friend, or alternately go to the main menu and switch to hard then switch back to restart the game with your items and do things differently. Just note that restarting means you're stuck with one of the three base classes until Gran Soren.

Finding one randomlyy seems to be impossible since i spent hours of trying to get one.

gathering places (armor and sword stuck in the ground) are giving rusted weapons fairly often. i hope i remember correctly, but really good spot to farm sword is the rock with harpies and wolves on the road to gran soren a bit before opening door with goblin ambush. as far as i remember two gathering spots on that rock and both can give sword if memory serves me right

you're only stuck until you kill cyclops at which point you can go to cassardis, wait for night and ask oira to get you to BBI where you can change class

A good spot seems to be the arena of the Ur-dragon, at the moment i can only find rusted daggers though

not every spot gives every weapon. if you find daggers you will most probably only get those and daggers are most common item. at least it seems like that to me when i was searching rusted longbow when i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up reynard at the beginning. i could only find it in 2 gathering spots and each time i play i always find it there long before reynard sells it and exact same thing for rusted spellbow

I found 2 Rusty Swords in my inventory and 16 Rusty Daggers! It seems that Daggers are really the easiest to obtain.

Does anybody have spare Heaven's Keys? =)

i have 1 extra on one of my alternate accounts. if you need it you're welcome to it and i don't need anything at all. as well as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of ascalons and volant whites. some dwells could be found as well

i always farm 4 (2 for me and my pawn so i can control power where i use dragonforged in everfall and goldforged in BBI). i somehow miscounted and farmed 1 extra

ur-dragon is such pain due to the terrible camera and whole bad design of the fight. once i get 4xHK (offline) on any account and set of abysinal... i never want to see it again there.

i sadly can't as it is just blank account with access to my library (quite a few of those) and it is not eligible to have friends by steam standards ;) i can't send friend request, but i can accept it

you need to change vocation so pawn can equip that weapon. if you need bow, ranger although yellow will not be ok same as strider wouldn't for longbow. for daggers it doesn't matter.

btw, i hope it is not a problem, but dagger is dragonforged and if you need ruinous relic i can give it as gift so you goldforge it immediately. first item is surging light tome which you have tons of

also, if you need anything else, just say. anything but abyssinal. no way i'm waiting grace period or indefinitely mash against broken camera on same account twice

update: i so hate ur-dragon it is not true. needed abysinal for one more acount i have and even though i was the one landing actual kill (same as probably quite a few others based on health) i only got ascalon. had to log into 2 more accounts just to get one lousy abyssinal set. the 3rd one was especially strange as i finally got full abyssinal set, but there were no wakestones. i bet game knows that that account could really use some extra money. i really hate that prick. god bless i don't fight him unless it is grace or really down on hp, i just shoot makers finger to get items since i know i'll miss grace
