Starting over, can anyone help with pawn hire?

Hey guys, I'm starting over in DDDA, since I haven't played in awhile. Hoping you guys can lend a helping hand and hire my pawn for exp and knowledge. I don't know much about the game. I'll be starting over as mage/sorcerer to build up to MA since the skills look pretty seems like fun =) Should I build my pawn into Mage/sorcerer as well to help with the casting bonus?

Anytime but do you know about the exiliers you can get after you fight the hydra? It helps with your pawn's incalnations. Which helps your pawn in the long run =) Pionieer and Acquisitor are ones you don't really want.

It seems like half of the low level pawns have at least one of those traits, and nearly all of them have one of those or Nexus. When I was doing the everfall it was incredibly difficult to get my pawns to stop trying to heal each other and attack things and actually run.

Yeah the pawn's are hard to keep as they're, I buy exiliers all the time to keep my as she is.

The exiliers can be bought at the encampment from a guy near the summoning stone, there pretty cheap.

okay, so ibought a medicant and utilitarian, and it only changed the secondary.

how do i change the primary? feed her multiple drinks of the same kind?

Yeah the more you give her of the same elixier will raise the inclanation. But you've to remember that inclanation will go down as placing one on top of previous one going down. Once again, are you sure medicant? Are you planning on keeping her as a fighter and warrior? Medicant only counts when your pawns a mage to heal as suppport.

medicant also makes her actually pay attention to her own health, sothat utilitarian can kick in and she can use her heals. i've had her use a spring water on me

I never understood why people ask to have their pawn hired. I always threw together the quickest/crapiest pawn I could with little thought or effort. They always got hired no problem and when I put off playing for awhile I come back and have 20 - 30 thousand rift crystals and pawn with max gear and area experience while my in game character is still wearing beginning armor and haven't even gotten past beginning of game.

I gave the real gold idol to Madeleine(I copy one fake idol from the black cat first), and she'll sell some very nice female armors.
