DirectX 11 - FPS and Texture Fix
Looks like the game by default is in DirectX 9 mode.

I figured out if you right click the game in your steam library > Properties > Set Launch Options

and paste:

-DX11

You will notice the game looks A LOT better and runs A LOT smoother

Even though there is a AFFGame.exe in said file.

Same here, the game crashed, with both x86 and x64 build. Running the game under Windows 10.

Just tried this. Seemes to work on Nvidia GTX 970, but only for one match. On that note. IT FIXED MY HORRIBLE 20 FPS!!!! I can now run 64 Player AI Match without a single frame drop!!! Unfortunately, after the match is over, the game crashes in DX11. But hell, better to just restart than deal with constant crap FPS. Good find :steamhappy:

windows 7 here, running the -DX11 command makes it crash on launch
MetalDestroyer Oct 3, 2015 @ 11:04am
Did you add the -DX11 command line when you run from the exe ? I created a shortcut and the the commandline, and same result, the game crashed. It doesn't take in account the command you set in Steam, you have to explicitly tell it.

Tried running in DX11 mode. Seems very crisp and smooth, but ADS'ing with a weapon causes the weapon and scope frame to become a blinding flat white color, rather than the appropriate weapon/optic textures.

Running Win7 x64, 8GB RAM/2GB VRAM. No other issues, but was also running a match with no bots and just me to do some screencaps for my guide.

Hey, thanks for bringing the DX11 results to our attention. We researched using DX11 mode before and basically ended up with severe instabilities and graphical glitches so it's probably not the way to go in the long run. We are however working hard on fixing the performance issues so the hacks should soon be unnecessary.

DX 11 Mode looks amazing though :sad_creep:

I do hope you plan to keep up with DX11.
I find having LESS graphical glitches in DX11 :P
