Can't play with Mouse Issues

I just purchased and can't play the game. No matter what I do the mouse moves to the left, only stopping when it hit's the side of the screen.

My mouse doesn't do this in any other game, Fallout, Elite Dangerous, Star Wars etc...

Right now this is a proverbial paperweight.

Anyone have this same issue? If so how did you resolve it?

Any chances you have a gamepad/controller on when starting the game and that -somehow- affects the mouse control? (just a wild guess)

OK, yes I do have a Thrustmaster. As a test I unplugged the Thrustmaster, and tried AFF again. The mouse pointer stayed in one location and responded as expected.
I plugged in the Thrustmaster and the issue returned.

1) This has some flight included and I'd like to use the flight stick.
2) I've played a lot of games and do not have this behavior with this stick for any other game, so I don't think it's a stick issue.

Thanks for the idea, at least it's narrowed down... now to get it fixed. :)
