FPS problem

I always wondered why I have a so big issue with FPS in this game.
It's the only one that runs so poorly on my computer, on full low.
I tried to motivate some friends into buying it, they refunded since it couldn't run at more than 25 FPS during battles (less during space battles)

I have an R7 3700x
RX 580 8go
16 go ram 3400 mhz
SSD samsung

And this thing can't get past 30 when things are getting to hot.
I can run planetside 2 at 100~ fps without any problems with some tweaks and this game is also trash tier in terms of optimization.

Does anyone have a solution about this problem ?
Or can I just stop bothering about it ?

And, please, if you have a solution feel free to give it, it's much appreciated.
But just saying "my computer runs it at 60 it's your problem" yeah, I know that, thank you, I want to end that and I don't find anything about that problem.
It's just bad FPS across the board.
I run Horizon Zero Dawn max settings at 100 fps
Planetside 2 also, as I said above.

Tons of games that are poorly optimized but not as much as this.

All of my drivers are up to date, nothing is melting, temperatures are stable and nothing is at 100 percent while the game is on.

Heavily depends on your system.
The stronger your single-coring is, the more you can run.
Start at a number and work your way up till you find a good balance is my best suggestion

And/or mix it with running a (local) server or on a server

I tried that "fix" and my fps were a bit higher and stable (40-50 with 24 bots, but felt empty.) Still, it has massive frame drops sometimes, random and I just don't know why.

Thank you anyway, but I'll wait and see if they want to take a look at it or just uninstall it for good and forget it.
Still a nice game tho, too bad that those things happen to me.

I also saw that's it's been more than one year since the last update, I'm also on their discord and not much seems to get done there too, even if they update their channel with some internal fixes. I guess lockdowns and homework got this game too

Honestly the best "fix" is just accepting the frame drops. I've got an i7-4790k, 16GB of RAM and a GTX 1080Ti and still get crazy frame drops when combat becomes intense. Just kind of the nature of the beast. G-sync helped "smooth" out the frame drops so they aren't as noticeable though. A lot of the newer maps are a lot more optimized too. Errah is probably the worst optimized map by far. It also helps to lock your FPS. Since a frame drop from something like 120 FPS to 30 FPS is going to be hugely noticeable. In comparison to a frame drop from 60 to 30. I keep most of my games locked at 72 FPS for that reason.

I think I had close to max bots. The fps drops to 45 and 30 in some areas, but because it's consistent, it isn't as noticeable as opposed to huge drops. The FPS counter is in the top left of the screen.
