This game is like a warm coat in the winter. The puzzles are great and the artstyle is super cute!

I love how you can look at the completed puzzles, or decide not to do so. This way you can change the difficulty for yourself. What I want from a cozy game is to help me relax and have a fun time. UMAMI 100% gave me that experience! This is a definitely recommend for me. I also love the "mini game" where you can search for a collectable (a card) while or after you are done with the puzzle.

Also the game came out on my 30th bday, best present so far!

It's hard to say how much time it would take you to finish the game. As obviously it will take a lot longer if you do not look at the completed puzzle at all. If you are good with jigsaw puzzles and do them often, you might be a bit faster than most people. I completed about 9 levels out of 15 levels currently in the game at the time of this review. I am 100% going to complete the other ones as well!

Achievements:
They are pretty strait forward. You just finish the game and any achievements you missed are easy to get by ''Viewing" your puzzle. So you don't have to redo a level if you missed something. Great game for folks who love to 100% achievement hunt a game.

Well, I promised I would be back with a more proper review once I played this cute little gem out, so here we are. And oh my, I already miss the puzzles. While 15 is plenty, and I took my time by not using the reference pictures to guide me, I still feel like it went by in a blink. Or two.
But that’s mainly because I was just having so much fun trying to puzzle the blocks together.

When I first saw this game, it was on social media. It was love at first sight for me, not only the concept of having a food-themed wooden block puzzle, in 3D, but also just the overall art style. Every little teaser, there was a detail that caught my eye, how beautifully it was done, and I cannot do anything else but applaud the artist(s) for the fantastic work. I genuinely do think I have some idle time in my game because I was busy admiring the details, slowly taking everything in.

And not only the art but also the music is enjoyable to have, softly playing in the background.
I also absolutely love that we can poke thingies, and that they move and make sound, and to have the cherry on top: there are also collectable cards to find. For me this game just tickled all the right brain places, so needless to say I’m giving it a huge thumbs up and I have to say I already find myself rooting for a dlc or a second game. I would love more puzzles like this!
Same theme, different theme, I’m not picky on that. But I guess that’s something time will tell.
