Mechanically, it took me a while to realize what I was looking at here. I'll spell it out here (in a spoiler tag so as not to ruin it for people who want the full puzzle experience. What you're looking at are, functionally, logic circuits with unconventional labeling. The circles are the logic gates, where the lines that connect directly to them are the inputs and the line with a gap next to it is the output. Circles with dots in them are XOR gates and you only have to power one to energize the gate, but if you power BOTH the gate doesn't energize. Circuits with nothing in them are AND gates, and you have to energize both inputs to make them work. And the circles with plus signs inside them are NOT gates that reverse the input they're given (so off becomes on and vice versa).

The puzzles themselves are pretty good, although I spent a while on one of the four-ball ones before realizing there were five pedestals and I could just go around trying one pedestal at a time until I found the one I could leave off. The combat feels like an afterthought and isn't really of a piece with the rest of the game. And you have to walk further off-screen than you'd expect to actually exit each level when you're done. Overall, though, I liked it.
