VTF is Valve's in-house texture format, which uses TGA as its base format. It might be worthwhile to have your tool support VTF directly. Been fiddling around with it recently but i've yet to come up with a good solution for making a nice shiny looking Metal Texture. I plan to put it to good use on a Robot Model I finished yesterday evening using Blender. Figured I would ask has anyone acheived this yet?
