Hopefully, the pop will increase rapidly. Share the keys with your friends and request more.
I don't know how to feel about this :p. This game came out around May, correct?
Honestly considering my first ever refund...
Ultimately there has been nearly zero advertising and was 'stealth dropped' on steam; only S2game fans caught wind of the release. Retrospectively Savage 1 got lucky in the past because gamers were looking for games and Savage was fresh to the scene and people looking for a new game found it easily. Savage Resurrection has a fanbase and is available on Steam...but so is every other Early Access game (many of which I see are abandoned or snoozing on the job).
On a positive note Savage Resurrection has an already tried and true formula for a large commmited community. All the devs need to do is continue their awesome timely patches, remove the EA tag and advertise. Currently, though they are trying to increase player count with temp keys, the game does need be patched for a clean release with advertising. (SR is for the most part free of serious bugs however even small bugs can bring the wrath of negative reviews).
the game is still a WIP. Its not ready yet. Not having alot of players is not a concern to me right now.
If its DOA when it get out of EA though, then thats a different story.
