Report a translation problem
Two default ones are 2048X2048, but modders are already working on maps of any size. :)

The thing I am more interested in is if the default map provided has some interesting and/or challenging terrain.
Max is 32768 supposedly (maps have to be by power of 2, with smallest being 1024), but its not really possible due to the memory requirements are beyond what a machine could physically have. 16384 is more the real max as its possible, although would probably require 128+ GB of memory and top end dual Xeon's to have it running with a resonable amount of monsters.
Note 16384 is 65km x 65km so its a bit on the absurd size.
