We’re excited to finally share it with you. Our demo is out now!

The demo includes two biomes:

Forest
Mountains

Each biome comes with bird species you’d naturally find in those environments.

Feather Land is your cozy background game, made with lovingly hand-crafted art, and backed by hours of research into bird species from different corners of the world. Build and grow your little world by buying birds and decorations, earn coins, and unlock new biomes. You can also use built-in tools designed to support focus and workflow, like Pomodoro and notebook.

Playtest is live!

Hi all!

We’re opening the doors to our first playtest for Early Birds! It’s a limited-time slice of the game, and we’d love your feedback!

What's in the playtest?

⛰️ 2 biomes: Forest and Mountain

🐦 Unique birds to discover in each biome

🍃 The game’s first relaxing vibe pass: ambience, soundtrack, and early productivity tools

Known issue (workaround available!)

Sometimes the Mountains biome doesn’t behave correctly the first time you unlock it. Specifically, the egg purchase option may not work. We're doing our best to fix it, but there's a workaround for now: close the game completely and relaunch it. After reopening, egg purchasing should work as expected. Sorry for the inconvenience!

We're joining Steam Animal Fest!

Hi all!

Animal Fest is the first Steam event we get to join, and we’re honestly super excited to be part of it!

To celebrate Animal Fest, here’s a quick tour of a few stars from Forest and Mountain!

Forest 🌳🍃 bright, busy, social

Cockatoo – Social acrobat with a expressive crest; loud calls carry through the canopy and its powder-down keeps feathers in top shape.

Lorikeet – Sips nectar with a brush-tipped tongue and rockets between blossoms.

Budgerigar — Small, chatty parakeet that travels in flocks; wild birds are green-yellow and superb vocal mimics that thrive on grass seeds.

Mountain ⛰️❄️ thin air, sharp hunters

Golden Eagle – One of the fastest raptors; watches from thermals, then dives.

Bearded Vulture (Lammergeier) – The “bone specialist.” It drops bones from the sky to crack them and slurp the marrow.

Snowfinch – A hardy alpine songbird that thrives where vegetation is sparse and winds are not.

In the 2000s

I had something similar in the 2000s. You could have a dog or cat as wallpaper. And you could pet it, throw a toy and give it water. But as I remember it was part of the wallpaper and not an appreciation. You had your icons and stuff.

Love this game idea and can't wait to use it more

Hi! I want to say I love this so far and will be trying it out when I do my work (I paint birds! lol) i like the pomodoro, the ambience and the aesthetic a lot. I also really like having the to do list and the diary. here are my notes: 1. if you hit enter while typing a birds name it goes to another line, making the name disappear. the names also disappeared or shortened occasionally. it would be cool to see the birds act with different personalities as well since they can look the same. 2. i think the di...
