When my outposts got overrun, the zombies were able to use my doors freely, dont trust doors at all.

too bad they couldn't be used as security as long as there was still a way for the monsters to get into the settlement. But alas, that just means more defenses and guards. :D

I think there was once a mod that allowed you to put in gates, which you could open or close from a switch, was a really cool mechanic. When the gate was closed, nothing could get in or out. Maybe the DEV's could introduce something similar...
