Multiplayer - Shared Colonies?

Hi folks,

I recently got this game with a friend and would like to know if it is currently possible to have a single, shared colony between us? We're able to get the server running fine, but the game seems to force us to have two independent colonies, although we can still help each other with construction.

The Steam store states: Share ownership of a single colony with multiple friends, or build your own colonies and trade items and science.

Is this feature currently implemented? If so, how do we do so?

as far as I know you can assign roles to players in your colonies, didn't try multiplayer yet but I saw in colony settings that you could do something in that kind... maybe it will help you

Yep, you're exactly right!
Spoke with the Dev on Discord as well.

From the colony settings, you can add/remove people form your faction. Pretty easy stuff.
