IT'S A TRAP!
I believe my colonists have developed some hatred for the traps. They have decided that they don't want to refill almost half of my projectile traps. The trap fixers just stand at their crate staring off into space all while multiple traps stand to be refilled. Seems to only happen to the projectile traps, as they haven't ceased in refilling any of the others, thus far. I have also checked and double checked that there is PLENTY of projectile trap ammo in storage.
I'll try moving them around to see if they refill them at another location, but kinda defeats the purpose of laying traps if you have to move them regularly to get the colonists to reload it, assuming that even works.

Does anyone have any idea how much more or less the various traps are better or worse than the various tiers of ranged defenders?

If it's still not fixed I'd appreciate it if you can send your world with the problem to us in a zip format (discord DM's, upload somewhere and link here, email to contact @ colonysurvival.nl)

Can you share some screenshots of how your projectile traps are placed and how colonists can reach them?

I think it may just be that the trap fixers have a significantly shorter refill range than I anticipated.

Can confirm, trap fixers no longer refill projectile traps as of latest patch

Edit: It seems trap fixers no longer travel as far to fix traps, they have a very limited travelling distance now.

This is my conclusion, as well as the answer to my perceived problem, it seems. They seem to have a max range of somewhere between 8-12 blocks, but no longer than 15 blocks of travel away.

I should've prefaced this with that I am playing with mods, but none of them state a direct effect on the range of operation of any of the colonists.

I just made a testworld with a bunch of projectile traps in weird places. All of them get loaded and reloaded without problems.

This happens in your worlds as well, if the trap fixer is close enough?

Thanks for helping us figure out this issue!

I highlighted 2 of my trap fixers and a projectile trap.
During testing i managed to permanently softlock one trap fixer and he no longer moves at all.

Zun seems to have been able to reproduce the bug. He's investigating the causes right now! Thanks again for the screenshots and info, keep it coming if you figure something out.

New developments, it seems if a side of the trap is against a wall, it does not get fixed. Moving the trap into the open allows the colonist to come over and fix it.

Strange! I sent it to Zun!

Actually disregard what i said, it was the fact the trap was moved 1 block closer to the colonist that he came over and fixed it.

I'm very confused, did some more tests and the trap previously not fixed, was fixed. But one trap a block further away was ignored https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2948581975
