Horizontal Lifts. What are they good for?
They can only go in a straight line, can't be built in the air without support, and are slower than regular running. The only benefit they have is, that i don't need to push the forward button or focus on the road. I'm fine with the limitations, but the slow speed is what bothers me. They seem especially useless compared to the launched glider

Push the forward button while moving.

Nice, thanks a lot. I thought it's like the elevator, where you lose all control after you start the ride.

I did a test with a 200 block long rail.
here are the results:
Sprinting 29 sec
Lift without pushing forward 34 sec.
Lift with pushing forward 21 sec.

That makes it somewhat useful. Unfortunately i still have to push constantly forward or else it gets slow again.

It seems like it moves much faster than that - but I'm not going to time it.

FYI - you can push forward in the vertical elevator as well : )
