Are updates continuing?

I have been watching this game on and off for a very long time now waiting for a full release or a version that is more fleshed out....im a little concerned the last update was quite some time ago, anyone know what the news/deal is? Has this project been dropped by the creator(s)? Very much hoping it has not

The last update has been a while, yes, but the devs are still actively working on the game. The next planned update is 0.9 featuring a changed crafting system and tech tree. And is expected to arrive this year or very early next year.
