Symbol (above head) list?

I noticed that some of my colonists have symbols above their heads some times. I rarely know what they mean....I was wondering if there is a list anywhere about this? (Such as a map above their head...?)

No, but a legend would be nice! What you can do is compare the icon above their head to the icons in your stockpile and then hover over those to see the description. That should give you an idea about what they are doing.

Map above their head is they can't find a valid path to somewhere they are trtying to go, often a bed. If an item icon appears over their head with a red slash through it, then they need an item that isn't currently in the stockpile. Fire over their head means there is no fuel to bake or smelt (I think both require some sort of fuel). It's really fairly intuitive if you take a second to think about what the colonist is supposed to be doing but isn't.
