how to assign a miner?
i made a pickaxe now wat

when you have a mine with ores (rock bottom, literally dig as deep as possible) than place it the same as with wheatfields but instead of wheat u pick miner. Its only one square in size

Exactly the same way you created a Wheat Farmer.

Select your Command Tool, Left Click to bring up the area/job selection menu, Select which one you want, then right click on the ground.

Note that with miner, you have to find the ores. They all (coal, gypsum, clay, iron) appear on the bottom layer, mine all the way down then dig out the second to last layer until you find what you want. Once you find what you want, assign a miner to the 1x1 square of the ore.

I put a chest and beds for all necessary miners down by the ores because I built on a mountain, so was quite a ways down.
