What Is The End Game

I'm having a ton of fun with this game, but is there an ultimate goal or a target population to win, or do you just play a colony until you feel like starting a new one. Also, are there any secret levels or achievements or 'easter eggs' in this game?

i think this early in its development i think the game is infinite, just keep building and expanding as long as your resources, sanity and FPS last's, to be honest i'm not that bothered about an end game, having a ton of fun.

I think i have found one easter egg. In snow block there is description ``knows nothing``. in Game of thrones there is legendary line that says ``you know nothing Jon Snow`` that is repeated couple of times in the series so i think that is reference to Game of thrones.

With a lot of items the description can count as easter egg. You probably already know that you can have multiple colonies and there are biomes with their own unique science?

The end of the game is when your colony is flooded beyond all repair and you resolve to do better next time. Repeat for all eternity.
