Grant Abbitt and Blender Guru both have good beginner tutorial series, each with a different approach.
On top of that, there's the official Blender channel with some tutorials and information, as well.

Stat there, then dive into the rabbit hole that's Blender 3D on YouTube. :3

People always suggest to starters, you need to learn from Blender Guru and he is using high poly with sub-d and Grant Abbitt who is either consideret a high level artist, i can only say that is going to backfire because 99% aren't going to understand a single thing from one single video or even the whole tutorial's.

I recommend, start learning the basics of Blender get comfortable with the overlay and how to create small object's even if it is something in your room like a Cup or a Book, when you have enough experience, i would start slowly creating Humanoid form's.

I started with low poly and looked up Imphenzia because everything that Blender Guru and Grant Abbit, teach is to fast to comprehend and you need to rewatch it multiple times to understand or remake.

P.S I don't care about the Donut!

Blender guru teaches you how to copy someone's exact steps and never actually works. If you use the tutorial, but make something other than a doughnut, you'll probably have a better chance at learning because you need to figure things out more independently.

Blender guru is also a cringe NFT grifter

Yeah, it's a genuine shame that he's always the first result. I've seen so many people giving up on blender because they're only recommended step by step checklists instead of actually being taught. The community tab is full of tutorial results and rarely do they make anything other than that

Back in my beginning days I used Blender Guru to aquire some knowledge about a certain topic or technique that I needed to learn for my own projects. For that I found them really helpful. I guess I newer watched a single of his videos until the end, only the parts I needed but I have to admit that adapting the stuff he showed to my own projects was a hell lot of fun.

Long story short: I never did a single donut. :lunar2019laughingpig:
