If the last 3 - 4 updates are anything to go by. It doesn't even have that going for it.
That's true, what with Nvidia and Blender not cooperating most of the time.
Thankfully my 770 is cooperating and I rarely consider updating my drivers because my Ge Force Experience barely works half the time anyway.
Also I found out about Blender's existence only because it was on Steam.
I also like that it lets my friends know I am working. Most tend to avoid hitting me up with idle chat or links to time wasting videos/articles when I've got Blender running. Which is a nice little bonus.
Auto-updates are nice too, since I am pretty lazy about that stuff. Since I am on Linux I could have that with my package manager anyhow, so it isn't a big thing to me. Though I run Manjaro and that might be more likely to update to release candidates and such, which I don't really want most of the time. I'd rather just stick to whatever the latest stable release is, since I don't usually care about - nor need - the latest and greatest features being tested. (At least until they start pushing updates for modern real time viewport rendering that can use PBR style materials and such.)
